Account Management
This section explains how users can manage their personal account details within MAXRES Construct. Each user has access to an Account section where basic profile information can be viewed and updated.
Overview
The Account section allows users to maintain their login credentials and update personal details such as email and password. This helps ensure your access remains secure and your contact information is accurate.
Requirements
- A registered user account on the MAXRES Construct platform
- Access to the Account section via the main navigation menu
Accessing the Account Section
- Select Account from the navigation options.
This will open the Account Management interface where you can review or update your details.
Changing User Details
Within the Account section, users can typically update:
- Email Address
- First Name
- Last Name
- Project Management API Key
- Password
Expected Behavior
- Email Address: You can update your registered email, which also serves as your username.
- Password: Changing your password will usually require entering your current password, followed by the new password and its confirmation.
- Name: Fields for First and Last Name may be editable to update your display name within the platform.
The exact layout and available fields may vary depending on your platform instance or user role. Some fields may be restricted based on permissions or platform configuration.
Security Recommendations
- Choose a strong password and update it regularly.
- Keep your email address current to ensure access to password recovery and platform notifications.
- Log out from shared or public devices after use.
